I am your standard Asian. I did well in school, graduated with an engineering degree from a respectable university, and now I am a programmer. I respect most of the demands of my parents. On one hand, I succeeded under the standards and pressures of asian culture.
On the other, I hate every notion that asian society and tradition has pushed on me. I couldn't give two shits about status, money, starting a family, or the crappy career my parents chose for me. As one would expect, there was backlash down the road and I turned into a raging alcoholic pervert who lost sight of most morals that I was raised with. I actively live two lives in order to keep my parents happy, because deep down I probably couldn't handle the fist of asian parental guilt should it come down on my puny face.
Long ago, when I was an idiot with no direction, I somehow figured that I wanted to become either a writer, a cartoonist, or a watermelon salesman (I fucking love watermelon.) I hate my job, and I hate the life I'm expected to live and I need my creative outlet to get by, because jerking off to hentai just doesn't do it for me anymore. I made this site for me because it's where I can be me, and it somehow ended up bringing a lot more pleasure to this world than to just me.

I just finished making the cartoon section. I've always wanted to do something with cartoons. In fact, I used to be the cartoonist for my high school paper. Granted I fucking sucked, but that was mostly because every cool thing I drew was censored by the administration. If anything, you can call this new section a backlash. I'll try to update weekly.

I wrote up part 2 of the Asian Parent guide some time ago, but didn't have a chance to polish it up until just now. The thing about the Asian Parent guide is that if you didn't have conservative/slight-crazy Asian parents then you might not get some of the jokes, so I apologize if this is a boring update. I also updated the first part of the guide to not suck so much.

I also started making cartoon strips. Before I start anything consistent with a cartoon strip though, I figured I'd start by supplementing my writing with cartoon strips. The first two strips I made are in the asian date guide and in the 2nd part of the asian parent guide. You'll see these popping up here and there as I move along...and then eventually I'll open a separate section just for the strips.
